How to edit a talking-head video with AI, step by step: cut bad takes and silences, add motion graphics and camera moves, export for YouTube or a course.
October 25, 2026 · 6 min readFor anyone who talks to camera
Upload your raw clips, retakes and all. The AI editor keeps your best take of each line and cuts the rest. Then an AI director adds motion graphics around you.
How it works
MP4, MOV or WebM, retakes and all: up to 20 clips and 30 minutes, in order. Spoke from a script? Paste it in Script & notes.
Keep my voice or AI narrates, then Motion. Keep the best takes, Cut silent moments, Camera moves, Replays & slow motion: all on by default.
The price shows first. Click Generate, change any scene in the studio, and export a 1080p MP4 in 16:9 or 9:16.
What it does
One take per line. False starts, stumbles, off-camera talk, silences: cut. 29 minutes of takes became a 3-minute intro.
Full screen, then a card beside big words, then a corner while an animation plays. Your name on a card.
Key words land on screen as you say them. Say “what you will learn” and the list lights up, item by item.
From your Library, your uploads or made by AI, on the word that names them, while your voice carries on.
A slow push, a quick zoom on a detail, a fast moment replayed in slow motion. The cuts between takes, hidden.
Your voice evened out from clip to clip. Switch on Sound effects: whooshes, hits and clicks, timed to what moves.

MP4, MOV or WebM: one clip or several, up to 5 GB each, up to 20 clips and 30 minutes in all. You put them in the order they play.
It works the way an editor does, choosing among the takes you filmed. It keeps or cuts whole words, and it doesn’t build sentences you never said out of pieces of different takes. Your recording stays the voice.

No. Choose AI narrates: Clipteach writes a narration from what you say, or from what your clips show, and a voice you pick reads it. It suits screen footage, products and silent clips.
No. Sound effects are an optional switch: whooshes, hits, clicks and the sound of the place, made for your video and timed to what moves. No music.
